Welsh International Super Cup - Cardiff - Wales

PG10 Coaching have participated in the prestigious Welsh International Super Cup over the last 11 years.

For over a quarter of a century Wales has hosted one of Europe's leading International youth football tournaments. Over the years numerous famous players such as Steven Gerrard, Tomas Rosicky, Andrei Shevchenko, Owen Hargreaves, Michael Owen and Shay Given have participated at the event. Teams from across the world take part in the event providing a great development tool.

The Welsh International Super Cup is played at the official Olympic Games assigned training facility in Cardiff where picture 040players such as Neymar, Hulk, Bellamy, Giggs, Allen, Oscar, Marcelo, Pato, Rafael, Thiago Silva, all used as they to prepared to represent their countries at the 2012 Olympics. Scouts from clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool to name just a few will descend on Cardiff in search of the new super stars of the game.

PG10 have won various age groups over the last few years the latest achivement winning the U12 age group in 2014.

A number of PG10 players have been snapped up and moved on to professional clubs such as Aston Villa FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester Utd FC. Everton FC, Cardiff FC, Swansea FC, Shrewsbury FC and Birmingham FC.

Dubai International Super Cup

PG10 Coaching participate in the the prestigious "Dubai International Super Cup" and in April 2012 won the unique tournament after receiving messages of support from Wales First Minister Carwyn Jones and Vale of Glamorgan MP Alun Cairns the children also met England legends Trevor Sinclair and Carlton Palmer. PG10 have just returned from the Dubai Super Cup where they came 3rd in the April 2015 event after meeting Canadian all time top goalscorer and MLS Toronto FC player Dwayne De Rosario.

The Dubai Super Cup sees teams from India, USA, Dubai Saudi Arabia, Canada, South Africa & Qatar came together with teams from around the Middle East to compete in one of the most exciting tournaments in the world. PG10 have travelled to Dubai in 2012 and 2015.ppp2

USA:- Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas

PG10 Coaching provide opportunities for young people to experience USA by playing in FIFA regulated tournaments in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas. While playing in tournaments players will also be given opportunities to develop their life skills and experience different cultures in a sporting environment.ppp3

In August 2013 PG10 Coaching U14 travelled to USA where the team took part in FIFA and USSF regulated unique international football tournaments in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

The team successfully won the San Francisco Cup and came 3rd in the Los Angeles based tournament played in Anaheim. In both tournaments they were the only team from the UK and Europe competing.

The team made up of players from Ysgol Gyfun Bro Morgannwg and Cowbridge secondary school in Cardiff and  Vale of Glamorgan competed against teams from across USA and Mexico.

The PG10 players and staff also linked in with David Beckham former club "LA Galaxy" based in Los Angeles and were given a personal guided tour by former USA international and LA Galaxy legend Clint Mathis of the clubs stadium "The StubHub Center" and training ground facilities.

Mathis who was a star performer in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea with the US national team gave the players a wonderful insight of the US Major Soccer league and the facilities at LA Galaxy.

The players also met Chivas USA, professional footballers and former Mexico international Juan Francisco Palencia who is Director of Football at Chivas USA who participated in two World Cups for his country. While being inspired at LA Galaxy the players also met NBA "Chicago Bulls" Basketball star Derrick Rose and the USA Girls national U18 team.

Sierra Leone - Africa

PG10 Coaching is leading with partners on football and education projects in Sierra leone. Young people from parts of Wales are encouraged to take part in unique international sports and global citizenship projects in Sierra Leone.

PG10 Coaching offer young people aged between 16-25yrs old an opportunity to increase their understanding of global citizenship whilst helping some of the most deprived young people in the world which will also have a major impact on the engagement levels of the young people in the UK and positive outcomes for all involved.

In December 2011 PG10 Coaching visited Sierra Leone for two weeks where workshops were delivered to children living in Freetown and Waterloo on various issues such as health, nutrition, sexual health and global citizenship during the mornings and using the power of football to break down barriers by providing football sessions in the afternoons. The project also complemented the fantastic work of Liverpool FC and Wales football star “Craig Bellamy Foundation” which is also based in Sierra Leone

Spain - Madrid, Barcelona, Mallorca, Valencia, Villarreal, Malaga and Germany - Bayern Munich

PG10 are delighted to offer unique opportunities for children and young people to travel to Spain and Germany to train and learn the spainish and german way!

PG10 have toured Barcelona three times during the summer of 2014 linking in with Barcelona FC and other Spanish contacts as well as touring in October 2014 Valencia FC and Villarreal FC and meeting there first team players and observing training sessions.

In May 2015 PG10 Coaching travelled to Madrid and linked in with Real Madrid FC and the Spanish FA; where hundreds of children aged 5-17yrs old took part in a football development opportunity with the 10 times European cup holders, the children and young people stayed at the Spanish FA national team training complex learning and using the spanish methods and like top players like Ramos, Xavi, Iniesta the PG10 children and young people used the official world famous facilities to aid player development.

The children also enjoyed development opportunities against the Spanish FA Academy and got to see the World Cup trophy and European Championship trophy at the Spanish FA headquarters that Spain won in 2008, 2010 and 2012

The children also had the honour of meeting the Spanish national manager Vicente del Bosque, Real Madrid legend and former vice president Emilio Butragueño and Manchester United FC and Spanish international players David De Gea and Juan Mata. The children where inspired by the Spanish FA U19 squad when they watched their training sessions at the training complex; while some children had the thrill of meeting Real Madrid stars Iker Casillas, Sergio Ramos, Isco, Carvajal and Chelsea FC Cesc Fabregas

This unique opportunity also involved visiting Real Madrid FC 85,454 capacity Santiago Bernabeu stadium, going pitch side in the changing rooms, lifting the European Champions league trophy and learn about the culture and history of one the world's greatest football clubs in the clubs official museum.

The players also visited the royal family Palace, Plaza Mayor as well as the other wonderful attractions in the city.

In October 2015 PG10 visited german giants Bayern Munich 

The children played games against german academy SV Dornoch with the U8 U10 U13 winning their matches and U9 U11 U12 producing fantastic performances. 

The children also had the opportunity to visit Bayen Munich 1st team training ground and had the opportunity to watch Bayern Munich academy sessions highlighting the clubs philosophy and level of detail to achieve success and development within the football club.

This unique opportunity also involved visiting Bayern Munich 75,000 capacity Allianz Arena stadium, going pitch side, in the changing rooms, sitting in Pep Guardiola dug out and learn about the culture and history of one the world's greatest football clubs in the clubs official museum.

In April 2016 PG10 Coaching returned from Real Madrid FC and the Spanish FA; where hundreds of children aged 6-13yrs old took part in a football development opportunity with the 10 times European cup holders, the children and young people also spent time at the Spanish FA national team training complex learning and using the spanish methods and like top players like Ramos, Xavi, Iniesta the PG10 children and young people used the official world famous facilities to aid player development.

 
The children also enjoyed development playing opportunities at the Spanish FA Academy and got to see the World Cup trophy and European Championship trophy at the Spanish FA headquarters that Spain won in 2008, 2010 and 2012.

 

This unique opportunity also involved visiting Real Madrid FC 85,454 capacity Santiago Bernabeu stadium, going pitch side in the changing rooms, lifting the European Champions league trophy and learn about the culture and history of one the world's greatest football clubs in the clubs official museum. The huge highlight was watching live the match between Real Madrid v Elbar at the Bernabeu.

The players also visited the royal family Palace, Plaza Mayor as well as the other wonderful attractions in the city.

Gambia - Africa

PG10 Coaching run a academy in Gambia for children and young people of all ages and abilities.

The purpose of the academy is for children to learn new football skills and techniques to be given opportunities to be educated and learn but also for coaches and young people from Wales a chance to coach in Africa to help develop football and communities in the country.

PG10 Coaching who have linked in with the Gambian Football Association and provide football kits, football boots, First Aid and playing equipment as well as coach education and first aid training for the wider community which enables hundreds of children and young people to play football and develop. The academy is based in the village of Farato and Sukuta Junctionba in the west region of the country.

The academy boasts over 10 teams from U9 to U16 a youth team and also a senior team ensuring a clear pathway to develop and also for talented players to be seen by european clubs.

All the teams are coached weekly by qualified coaches and play matches on weekends
